NOOSA NATIONAL PARK
Noosa National Park
This is one of our treasures and is a must for every visitor to Noosa.

You can access the Noosa National Park from Hastings Street by a short walk along the boardwalk or if you have a car there is limited parking available.

A visit to the information kiosk is a good idea so you can determine which track best suits you.

There are various options from the coastal walk around to Hells Gates seeing the wonderful beaches of Tea Tree Bay and Granite Bay or take the inland tracks and see the beautiful rain forest.

Don’t forget a hat, swimmers, good walking shoes and a water bottle. Be on the look out for koalas in the gum trees.
NOOSA EVERGLADES
NOOSA EVERGLADES

The Noosa Everglades is a system of waterways in the upper Noosa River. It is very tranquil, unspoilt and very relaxing.

Enjoy a cruise through the Noosa Everglades with one of the local tour operator, or for the more adventurous you can drive to Boreen Point and hire a canoe or kayak.

You will pass through Lake Cooroibah and Lake Cootharaba on your way to the Noosa Everglades if you cruise up.

Take your camera and those magic mirror reflections.

NOOSA NORTH SHORE

Noosa North Shore is a beautiful beach area that spreads for 40 miles and is part of the Great Sandy National Park.

The Noosa North Shore can be reached by taking a ferry from Tewantin and if you want to go over the convention tracks and hit the beach you will need a 4WD.

Drive along the beach and see the Noosa Coloured Sands. It is a great day out. You can take a tour with a local operator or hire a 4WD and drive yourself up.

Make sure you check the tides to determine the safest times of the day to travel.

FRASER ISLAND
Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island and is World Heritage listed.

It is a unique nature environment in which to explore. Visit some of the many freshwater lakes including the famous Lake Mackenzie with its crystal blue water.
There are assorted 4WD tracks that Weave around the island to explore the natural habitat of flora and fauna. See the natural rain forest at central station and the many fresh water streams.

It is a full day trip from Noosa passing through Rainbow Beach before taking the ferry across to Fraser Island.

The tour is available from local tour operators or there is the option to hire a 4WD but you need to take care with the tides.
NOOSA RIVER FERRY
This is a great way to explore Noosa.

There is a $17.50 all day passes aboard Noosa's most popular river cruise.

It takes 90 minutes to complete a round trip on the ferry or you can hop on and off along the way.

The ferry runs between Tewantin, Noosaville and Noosa Heads and operates every day of the week.

Includes informative commentary.

Noosa has a great range of walking tracks for the hiker. Not only do we have the tracks through Noosa National Park, but behind Veridian Noosa there is a walk up to Noosa Lookout and around to Little Cove.
